As Balter Head Brewer, Scott Hargrave says, “Pilsners are technically challenging. MEET THE BREWER:You probably know them for taking the #10 spot in GABS Festival Awards 2017, with their oh-so fresh'n'juicy Kaiju Krush, as well as for producing incredibly hop-forward brews, including Aftermath, Metamorphasis & Robohop!

@kaijubeer​ Co-Owners, Nat Reeves, his brother Callum, & wife Clara (pictured), started this unique brand under the original name, 'Monster Mash', operating out of Cavalier Brewing​. But, it wasn't long before some energy drink company (suppose they're somewhat well known...) came calling, & 'Monster Mash' was forced (they're now graeful for this) to become 'Kaiju', meaning 'strange creature' in japanese. 
By 2015, Kaiju had gained quite the following & they were able to establish their own brewing premisis in Dandenong South, where they continue to brew all their delicious, hoppy brews by hand. 
Of course, it also must said, as amazing as their beers are, you must have noticed their equally amazing packaging... yes? These impressive pieces of art, inspired by team Kaiju's love of Japanese films & comics, are the work of New York based artist, Mikey Burton. According to Clara he's the only choice to bring Kaiju concepts to life, as she's always wanted to work with him from her days working as a games developer (awesome resume, we know). So if you haven't given Kaiju a go, do yourself a favour & get onto it! Available for limited time at the Woolly Mammoth​ Craft Bar 😋
